W. Earl Brown will screen his yet-to-be released film "Provinces of Night" at 7 p.m. Monday at the Curris Center Theatre. Brown, a former Murrayan who's appeared in the HBO series "Deadwood" and "There's Something About Mary," will be at the screening to include Murray State University students in the process of finishing a film.
"Provinces of Night" starring Kris Kristofferson, Val Kilmer, Dwight Yoakam and Hilary Duff it's complete, lacking its musical score. But Brown, and director Shane Taylor, wanted to give students the chance to see and discuss a film on its way to being completed.
Brown and Taylor, who is also a MSU grad, will hold a question-and-answer session after the screening.

Fleming finds a kindred spirit in Raven Lee Halfacre, the illegitimate daughter of a prostitute. For the first time, they both feel the limitless possibilities of unconditional love. Bloodworth has spent 40 years chasing women, whiskey and song, but as mortality creeps upon him he feels the need to face his past.
