By Adam Shull The 7-hour, 7-band music fest could also be a chance to donate for those who can’t make the 3-mile walk/run. So after the 10 a.m. walk - starting and ending in Noble Park - ends, the first hard rock band cranks up at 2 p.m. at the amphitheater. “We’ll have March of Dimes literature out there and be taking (donations),” Chester said. “It’s a family-friendly event. It will be good rock and roll but you can bring your kids out.” The bands are all from the area with most from Paducah and others from Jackson, Tenn., and Nashville. Chester, a Paducah native and Nashville transplant, plays in Sometimes Saturday. “Paducah really needs something where kids and families can come out and enjoy themselves and have a good time in a drug-free environment,” Chester said. “And maybe they can give a little money to help out the March of Dimes.” The Lineup 2-3 p.m. - Sekret Societee 3-4 p.m. - The Duck Luckies 4-5 p.m. - The Jubilee 5-6 p.m. - Vicious Mistress 6-7 p.m. - 5 Live Martyers 7-8 p.m. - Sometimes Saturday 8-9 p.m. - Adam Grant and the Satisfaction Adam Shull can be contacted at 575-8653. |
