METROPOLIS, Ill. — Theresa Gale Tanner Waddell, 52, of Metropolis died at 9:26 a.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Waddell; two sons, Derek Waddell of Paducah and David Waddell of Metropolis; two grandchildren, Xavier and Brenden Waddell, both of Paducah; two sisters, Mary Bruce of Daphne, Ala., and Nita Haney of West Frankfort, Ill.; one brother, John Tanner of Metropolis; a half brother, Bill Tanner of Metropolis; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Juanita Stites Tanner; and one sister.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis. David Waddell will officiate.

There will not be any visitation.

Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is handling the arrangements.
