SYMSONIA, Ky. — Betty Joyce Ray, 61, of Symsonia died at 8 p.m. Thursday at her home.

She was an employee of the Paducah Southside Wendy’s and a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are her mother, Rosie Agnes Borders Ray of Symsonia; and two brothers, Thomas Richard Ray of Symsonia and Jerry David Ray Sr. of Golden Pond.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Holmes Ray; one sister; and one brother.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Sand Hill Baptist Church in Graves County with the Rev. Max Anderson officiating. Burial will be at New Sand Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after noon today at the church.
