CADIZ, Ky. — Marguerite Gentry Sumner, 84, of Cadiz died Monday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, John Sumner of Cadiz; and two daughters, Linda Sumner Creed of Cadiz and Dorothy Sumner Capes of Paducah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Beulah Lawrence Gentry.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ray Futrell officiating. Interment will be at Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
