BENTON, Ky. — Eileen M. Thweatt, 88, of Benton died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Thweatt was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Green of Warren, Mich., and Mary Jane Monahan of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lillard E. Thweatt; and a daughter, Gloria A. Weiss. Her parents were John Andrew Buck and Mary Florence Purdy Buck.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Littrell will officiate, with burial in Carter’s Mill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
