Trudy O’Brien, 75, of Paducah passed away at 6 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. O’Brien is survived by two sons, Steven Engelhardt of Winfield, W.Va., and Gregory Engelhardt of Buffalo, N.Y.; one grandson, Joshua Engelhardt of Buffalo, N.Y.; two stepgranddaughters, Lissa Lansdale of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Christine Lansdale of Winfield, W.Va.; and one sister, Hannalare Ranft of Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. O’Brien. Her parents were Helmut and Ingrin Wernsing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with burial taking place in Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery in Hurricane, W.Va.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
