Vivian Bishop, 86, of Paducah, formerly of Carlisle County, Ky., died Sunday at 3:45 a.m. at her residence.

Vivian retired as bookkeeper from Coca-Cola Bottling Company. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and loved working in her yard and flowers.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Larry Lindsey and Terry Sills officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell, Ky.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla Hobgood (husband, Robert) and Diane Siegel (husband, Norman), both of Paducah; four sisters, Gladys Lambert, St. Louis, Mo., Carmen Lane, Kuttawa, Ky., Sue Ledbetter, Burkley, Ky., and Jean Mathis, Melber, Ky.; two brothers, Kenneth Dycus, Bardwell, Ky., and David Dycus, Mayfield, Ky.; two grandchildren, Evan Hobgood (Kathy), Calvert City, Ky., and Tracey Hobgood-Mader (Don), Weatherford, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Kyler, Alec, Chloe; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Ed Krinard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Carl Bishop; and her parents, Dave and Verda Johnson Dycus.

Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
