HICKORY, Ky. — Lauren Brooke Elder and Taylor Kaliyn Summerville were united in marriage Aug. 29 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hickory with Barry Summerville, father of the groom, officiating. The bride was escorted by her brother, Matthew Elder of Fort Campbell.

The bride is the daughter of Renee Webb of Fancy Farm, the late Danny Elder and Mary Elder of Sharpe. The groom is the son of Barry and Sharon Summerville of Hickory.

The bride chose Miss Heather Price of Sedalia as her maid of honor.

The groom chose Blake Howard of Symsonia as his best man.

A reception followed.

The bride is the granddaughter of Jeff Tynes of Benton and the late Patricia Tynes, and the late John and Ruth Elder. She is a 2008 graduate of Graves County High School and is attending West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is employed by Lourdes hospital.

The groom is the grandson of James and Kathrea Holt of Boaz, the late Doris and Fern Roberts, and the late Robert Summerville. He is a 2009 graduate of Graves County High School and is employed by Royal Crown Cola Inc. in Mayfield.

The couple resides in Hickory.
