A funeral Mass for Michael Earl Reed, 60, of Paducah will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Patrick Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Reed died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184 and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Angela Sue Voytas Reed; two daughters, Lorie Suzanne Reed of Carterville, Ill., and Julie Kay Reed; his father, Albert Earl Reed of Boaz; one brother, Arthur Linn Reed of Boaz; several nieces; one nephew; and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Curtis Luvene Bivens Reed.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with prayers at 7 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
