Funeral services for John W. Baker, 63, of Paducah will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Roth Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Baker passed away at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was retired from I.B.E.W. Local No. 873, a member of Kevil Eagles Club, a member of American Legion Post No. 31 and a guest member of VFW Post No. 1191. He also loved riding his Harley and playing pool.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Baker; his father, James Baker of Paducah; four sons, Keith Baker and wife Christi of Fort Hood, Texas, Gary Leonard of Sheridan, Ind., Jason Hodson and Brad Hodson, both of Cincinnati; two daughters, Kim Kellog of Brookston, Ind., and Brandy Gipson of Marion, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Baker.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Roth Funeral Chapel.
