Ms. Kim Boren Bryant of Paducah and Mr. and Mrs. John M. Hill of Midland, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Jean Hill, to Jason Robert Bushby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Bushby of Starkville, Miss., and the late Hope Livingston.
Miss Hill is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kathryn Hill of Shiloh, Ill., and the late James R. Hill, and the late Bill and Norma Jean Boren. She is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2003 and a master’s degree in taxation in 2004, both from the University of Mississippi. She is a 2007 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law. She is employed by Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. Bushby is the grandson of Mrs. Fran Gaub of Cle Elum, Wash., and the late Darrell Bennett, and Mrs. Iva Lou Pope of Kosciusko, Miss., and the late Leo Pope, and Mrs. Jean Kamal of Fort Collins, Colo., and the late William and Mary Jane Bushby. He is a 1999 graduate of Starkville High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a 2006 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is employed by Bradley Arant Rose & White, LLP in Birmingham.
The wedding will be Oct. 4 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
