LEXINGTON, Ky. — Leslie Ann Morris and Brian Francis Behrendt were united in marriage June 21 at Talon Winery, with Bill Coleman officiating. The bride was escorted by her brother, Willie Morris of Mount Vernon.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda Morris of Mount Vernon and the late William Morris.
The groom is the son of B.F. and Lisa Behrendt of Paducah.
The bride chose Mrs. Tammy Camel of Berea as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Tara Haywood of Lexington; Miss Lindsey Behrendt of Paducah, sister of the groom; Miss Brittany Owens of Georgetown; and Mrs. Dee Morris of Mount Vernon. Miss Chloe Morris and Cody Morris, daughter and son of Willie and Dee Morris, served as flower girl and ringbearer.
The groom chose Justyn Knees of Paducah as his best man. Groomsmen were Austin Haywood of Lexington; David Crowley of Bowling Green; and Derrick Ramage and Brandon Cain, both of Louisville.
A reception followed.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Rockcastle County High School at Mount Vernon and a 2005 graduate of Berea College. She is employed by Eli Lilly & Co. Pharmaceuticals in Owensboro.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Reidland High School and a 2005 graduate of Centre College in Danville. He is pursuing a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from South University in Savannah, Ga.
The couple resides in Owensboro.
