Stacy Allison Roof and Jason Lee Davis were united in marriage November 3, 2007, in Carson Chapel of First Baptist Church of Paducah. The Rev. Larry Lewis officiated. Music was provided by Shea Nickell of Paducah.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Bonnye Roof of Paducah. The groom is the son of Mark Davis of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Sheila Kuykendall of Paris, Tenn.
The bride chose Mrs. Lea Ann Whitney of Port St. Lucie, Fla., as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Andria Brooks of Calhoun and Ms. Meredith McCarthy of Nashville, Tenn. The bride’s daughter, Miss Gabriella Elise Roof, served as the flower girl. Ringbearer was Ethan Dean, son of Michael and Carolyn Dean of Herrin, Ill.
The groom chose Andy Barry of Big Sandy, Tenn., as his best man. Groomsmen were John Thompson, Logan Grathwell and Brandon Dodd, all of Big Sandy. Ushers were Justin Roof of Lexington, brother of the bride, and Lance Shavchuk of Big Sandy.
A reception followed at Madison Hall in Paducah. Ms. Paige Davis of Paris, Tenn., attended the guest register.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Reidland High School and is attending Murray State University. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Big Sandy High School in Big Sandy, Tenn. Both are employed by Briggs & Stratton in Murray.
The couple resides in Murray.
