MURRAY, Ky. — Whitney Kate Puckett and Philip Ross Sollitto were united in marriage March 29 at University Church of Christ, with Charley Bazzell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Debbra Puckett of Murray. The groom is the son of Kara Sollitto of Paducah and the late Jerry Sollitto.

The bride chose her brother, Derrik Edwards of Huntsville, Ala., as her honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Shawna Edwards of Huntsville; Kylea Carver of Nashville, Tenn.; and Jessica Toren of Owensboro. Flower girl was Miss Makena Grace Edwards, daughter of Derrik and Shawna Edwards. Ringbearer was Will Carver, son of Billy and Daysha Carver of Nashville.

The groom chose Mark Toren of Owensboro as his best man. Groomsmen were Michael Sollitto, brother of the groom, and Craig Coram and Jason Agee, all of Paducah. Serving as ushers were Josh Dunn of Murray, Chris Barkett of St. Louis and Chris Gregory of Paducah.

A reception followed.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Calloway County High School and a 2007 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is employed by Centennial Pediatrics in Springhill, Tenn.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a 2005 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is employed by Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn.

The couple resides in Nashville.
