CALVERT CITY, Ky. — Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Waldrop of Calvert City will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Mr. Waldrop and the former Gladys Marie Holland were married May 10, 1943, in Mayfield by Judge W.H. Crowder Jr.
Their attendants were Lexie Waldrop and Roberta Waldrop Rudolph.
Mrs. Waldrop is the daughter of the late John and Bernice Holland.
Mr. Waldrop is pastor of Bryant Ford Baptist Church. He is the son of the late Lexie and Francis Waldrop.
They have four children: Victor Waldrop of Calvert City, Kelly Waldrop of Fredonia, Carol Sinclair of Elva and Cindy Hurley of Livingston County. They have nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and six step-great-great-grandchildren.
