Terry and Benita Buckles of Elizabethtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Erin Buckles, to David Burke Fish, son of David and Natalie Fish of Paducah.
Miss Buckles is the granddaughter of Ottis and Faye Highbaugh of Bonnieville, and Clint and Lillian Buckles of Elizabethtown. She is the great-granddaughter of Lettie Caswell of Bonnieville. Miss Buckles is a 1999 graduate of Central Hardin High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in communication, and a 2006 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., with a master’s degree in sport administration. She is the assistant director of Alumni Relations at Belmont University.
Mr. Fish is the grandson of Horace K. and Donna Oliver of Dover, Tenn., and David and Amy Fish of Erin, Tenn., and the late William C. Knott Jr. He is a 2000 graduate of Reidland High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting in 2004 and a master’s degree in sport administration in 2007, both from Belmont University. He is employed as special projects coordinator at Belmont University.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 6:30 p.m. June 30 at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Nashville. A reception will follow at the Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin, Tenn.
