Services for Dorothy Charlene Rudd, 87, of Symsonia will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. Kyle Rudd of Trenton, Tenn., son of the deceased, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rudd died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.

She was a Lyon County native and a member of Clarks River Baptist Church.

In addition to her son, she is survived by four daughters, Jane Darnell of Marshall County, Judy Chapman of Paducah, Sherry Jarvis of Symsonia and Kathie Brooks of Hardmoney; one sister, Arminda Sanders of Boaz; one brother, Rob Roy Ramage of Tallahassee, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Rubel Rudd; one grandchild; two sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were Sank Bailey Ramage and Addie Grace Stafford Ramage.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
