Police seek help in debit card theft

Paducah police seek the public's help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing a mislaid debit card and using it to make

purchases of more than $150.

A Paducah woman told police she left her debit card at a business on Hinkleville Road. Surveillance photographs show another

woman picking up the card and putting it in her pocket, Paducah police spokeswoman Robin Newberry said Thursday in a news


The woman is described as heavy set and white, about 35, and having brown, curly hair that falls below her shoulders.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity is asked to call Paducah police at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.
