Mustangs ride past Cairo; Lyon falls

At Cairo, Ill., Jason Armstrong led the way with 11 points as McCracken County rolled past Cairo 83-60 in Tuesday's high school

boys basketball.

Caleb Stonecipher hit two 3-pointers on his way to 13 points for the Mustangs. Ryne Burnett and Kam Chumbler both scored 12

for McCracken, and Bryce Rodgers tossed in 11.

Trey Hollowell led the Blazers with 14 points, while Jordan Gary, a former Lyon, finished with 11. Jericho Wilkerson led the

Lyons with 29 points, including the 1,000th of his career.

points, and Haley Cook finished with 16.
