Mother aims to help victims of violence

When Chejuana Chase of Memphis, Tennessee, got the call in the summer of 2012 that her son had been slain in Paducah, she said it was like someone had put a fist through her chest, reached inside and ripped out her insides.

An aspiring rapper, Michael Bouie, who was 24, was gunned down in the Elmwood Court Apartment complex around 3 a.m. on June 12, 2012.
